RES - POWER FOR GOOD

WHO ARE WE?

RES New Zealand was incorporated in 2006. It is wholly-owned by the RES Group, one of the world's leading renewable energy developers and part of the British Sir Robert McAlpine construction and engineering group. RES has also been active in the Australian market for a number of years, establishing an office in Sydney in 2003 and developing the Taralga wind farm in New South Wales, which was granted development approval in 2006.

We have major projects which will enter construction from 2009. Our specialist wind energy team includes highly experienced professionals in technical, engineering, construction, network connection and commercial areas of wind farm development and construction.

We also deploy the significant capabilities of specialist staff from other parts of the group as required. These include centers of excellence for wind resource assessment, wind turbine procurement, turbine technology assessment, network analysis and connection design.
